FALL News & Events

The Kutenai Institute welcomes you to Nov. 2011!

Greetings and many blessings to you in this vibrant time of autumn.  We are sending this  issue to people who have attended classes, workshops or other events with Myrna Martin, Cherionna Menzam, Sharon Porter or have some other connection with KIIT and have indicated that they want to see it. It is wonderful if you would like to continue to receive this newsletter but if not please click the unsubscribe button. We certainly only want to send this to people who may be interested in the new community library resources, articles, community programmes or in the workshops and courses Myrna, Cherionna and Sharon are offering.

Community Library on Attachment
KIIT (Kutenai Institute of Integral Therapies) supports a library for professionals in the community on everything to do with the prenatal, birth, attachment and early years periods of life as well as resources on parenting, craniosacral therapy, child and family therapy, and trauma resolution. It is an amazing collection of resources including books and dvd's. We plan to include a list of new acquisitions in each newsletter. We invite professionals in our region to join the library for a cost of $25. This funding, as well as the proceeds from selling Folkmanis puppets, Heart Math products and DVD's from the Science Meets our Hearts Conference will all allow KITT to increase our resources for the community! If you have any questions about the puppets, Heart Math products or the DVD's please contact Myrna at myrna@myrnamartin.net.  The Folkmais puppets are wonderful gifts for young and old.  If you are curious about them please go to the Folkmanis website and view them, and then email myrna@myrnamartin.net to order.  We can sell them to you for the same or slightly less than Folkmanis and you will help the library aquire more resources.  The same is true for Heart Math.
We have lots of new resources, including the complete DVD's of Gordon Neufield, and the complete set of audio recordings of many of the leaders in the Trauma field, plus new craniosacral books, and attachment resources.

Resources can be loaned for a full one month period!
The library is at the Kutenai Institute of Integral Therapy located at 1502 Stanley St. in Nelson. Library hours are Tues. noon to 2pm and Thurs. 3-5pm. The library entrance is off of Innes St. You can view the library on line by following
this linkwww.library.kutenaiinstitute.com/.  Click on "Shelf" to see all the categories and then within each category what resources we have.  We are having trouble with this link and not all the resources are showing; we hope to get this fixed shortly, but in the meantime, please come in if you can.
